Giving voice through social media

As Translighthouses Community, we are a social community that employs social media to spread the enriching and inspiring voices of the communities involved in the project. As part of a European project, digital media are crucial for us to spread our messages beyond a local scale.

In addition to this website, we have an Instagram profile for our Translighthouses Community that relaunches all the contents of the website and narrates in a social media style the activities that take place in the different pilot cases and organized by the partners of the project.

Along with it, most of the pilot cases have their own Instagram profile where they promote and narrates, also through amazing pictures, the activities organized with the involvement of the community or by partners.

Strovolos pilot case is doing a great job in Cyprus, with the narration of activities connected to Pedieos River Linear Park. As well as Barcelos pilot case, implementing NBS in schools and telling all their interesing activities directly by youth voice. With Caceres pilot case we can discover more about compost and their enriching activities organised for children and adults. Azores pilot case is also narrating what is going on with their amazing natural trail, organizing several events with the aim of connecting people with nature. Estarreja pilot case is connected to BioRia, an amazing natural experience with opportunities of guided tours and enviromental education.
